How accurate is the instant estimate?
It is a planning range, not a bid. The roof area and pitch come from Google's aerial imagery, which is usually within a few percent on a normal home, and the price uses the same per-square rates we bid with. What imagery cannot see — a second layer of shingles, soft decking, rotted fascia, skylights that need replacing — is priced after a free on-roof inspection, and the written price is what holds.
Do I have to give my phone number to see the price?
No. The range shows before we ask for anything. Leave a first name and mobile number only if you want the written price, which comes with a free 30-minute inspection.
Why is the range so wide on some roofs?
Steep pitches, two-story access, tile, and complicated roofs with many planes cost more to do right. The tool adjusts for the pitch it detects and the stories you select, and it shows the honest spread rather than a single number we could not stand behind.
What if my roof was damaged in a storm?
Choose “Storm / insurance” in the scope step. Wind and storm damage is often covered by your homeowner's policy less the deductible. We inspect for free, document the damage, and meet your adjuster; insurance restoration is what we do most.
Which areas does the tool cover?
Orange County, Los Angeles County, and San Diego County, plus Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties. Our office is in Costa Mesa, so Orange County inspections are often same-day.
