GAF WARRANTY COVERAGE

Every GAF shingle roof comes with GAF's standard Shingle & Accessory limited warranty. Because Stone Ranch Roofing is a GAF Certified™ Contractor, we can also register GAF's enhanced System Plus limited warranty when the roof is built as a complete GAF system. Here is what each one actually covers, in GAF's own terms:

• GAF System Plus™ Limited Warranty — a Timberline® (or GAF designer) shingle roof installed with at least three qualifying GAF accessories. Lifetime limited coverage on GAF manufacturing defects with a 50-year non-prorated period, and tear-off and disposal covered when a defect makes them necessary. It does not include workmanship coverage from GAF — installation is covered by Stone Ranch's own workmanship warranty below.
• Golden Pledge® Limited Warranty — GAF's top tier, offered through GAF Master Elite® contractors on a Timberline® shingle (other than Timberline NS) installed with five qualifying GAF accessories. Lifetime coverage on GAF materials with a 50-year non-prorated period, plus GAF-backed workmanship coverage: 25 years non-prorated on Timberline HDZ® and 30 years on Timberline UHDZ® and the designer lines. Ask us whether your project qualifies.
• WindProven™ Limited Wind Warranty — no maximum wind-speed limitation, available on LayerLock™-labeled shingles (Timberline HDZ®, HDZ RS, UHDZ™) when they are installed with the required GAF accessories. Other installations carry a 15-year wind warranty up to 130 mph with GAF's special installation.
• StainGuard Plus™ / StainGuard Plus PRO™ — 25 years (StainGuard Plus) or 30 years (StainGuard Plus PRO, on Timberline UHDZ™) of limited coverage against blue-green algae discoloration on labeled shingles and ridge caps.
• Stone Ranch workmanship warranty — our own written warranty on the installation, provided with every re-roof contract. The term and conditions are stated in your contract; ask for it before you sign.

"Lifetime" in GAF's warranties means as long as the original owner, or a properly transferred second owner, owns the home; it applies to single-family detached homes owned by individuals, and other owners get 40 years. GAF warranties are registered after installation and have conditions, exclusions, and transfer rules — read the full terms on GAF's residential warranty page before relying on any summary, including this one.

Tile, standing-seam metal, and TPO or PVC roofs are not GAF shingle systems; they carry their own manufacturers' material warranties, which we go over with you when we quote the job.
